In both our food coaching and our prepared meals, we believe in eating a diet full of nutritious whole foods. Our proteins come from grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured chicken, eggs, and duck, wild caught seafood. We advocate healthy fats from the purest olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, and grass-fed ghee. We teach and practice carbohydrates from organic vegetable sources. We coach and cook without gluten, soy, corn, legumes, GMOs, artificial sweeteners, and most dairy. We find a lot of common ground with the “Paleo” way of eating and with the “Bulletproof Diet” in the way we cook to avoid toxins and inflammation.
Produce comes from local organic farms, while meat is natural, grass fed, pastured and sustainably raised at the best Southern California ranches.
Not at this time, however, we are working on a bulk order program. Please e-mail jess@myoptimaleats.com if you are interested.

Meals consist of one protein (meat) and a side vegetable. Portion sizes are anywhere from 5 – 7 ounces of meat and 5 – 7 ounces of vegetables, which can translate into 400 – 870 calories per meal. We balance our weekly menu to provide an optimal caloric intake when taken as a whole. In other words, day-to-day or meal-by-meal, there will be calorie variations, but at the end of the week, you will have consumed a diet that is well balanced in both calories and macro-nutrients.
Instructions are provided with every meal. Generally, meals are easily reheated by either:
- submerging vacuum sealed bag directly into boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes
- heating in a pan or skillet on low heat for 10 minutes or until hot
- broiling in oven on low heat until hot
Choose your meal package (either 10 meals for one week, or 28 meals for the 14 day detox), place your order by midnight on Thursday, then receive your meals delivered on the following Tuesday between 7am and 12 noon. It’s that easy!
Your meals will be delivered in an insulated freezer bag. However, we do ask that if you can’t be present at the time of your delivery, that you leave us specific instructions as to your preferences. (For example, some customers give us their gate code so that the delivery can be placed at doorstep.) Be aware that all food is perishable and should not be left out for more than 8 hrs.
We understand that individuals may prefer or dislike certain foods, however, at this time the only request we are able to accommodate is the option to exclude any pork menu items. We make every attempt to appeal to a broad audience with our chef designed menu.
We deliver exclusively to the greater Los Angeles area. Please enter your zip code for delivery options.
We strongly recommend that anyone with a food allergy (particularly to nuts and
seeds) not order from us, as cross contamination is unavoidable in our kitchen.

While we certainly hope this never happens, if there is ever any concern about the viability of your food, please e-mail jess@myoptimaleats.com or call us directly at (424) 653-0179 and we will promptly exchange your spoiled food for another fresh batch.
Unfortunately, no. Unless you have requested no pork options, the menu is predetermined by the Optimal Eats team.
